This theory is originally published on twitter and discusses the individual trailers of NU’EST’s 7th mini album “The Table”. This is a supplementary reading for the Love Me MV theory.
During the The Table Unboxing V Live, JR mentioned that his and Aron’s trailers were switched because JR was bad at peeling the peaches. If that’s the case, then it makes so much more sense!
So if Aron was originally casted for the tired employee going home to a cat, it crushes my heart even more. All this time, he was waiting for them. Lighting a new candle on the same pie for who knows since when. He was tired of not being able to do anything.
It’s kind of hard to put a concrete theory on the trailers so here is just one. I also put together some of other LOVEs’ observations. I am not too confident on this though as opposed to my other theories but hopefully it will help shed a little bit of light on us.
Let’s say that the one peeling the peaches was JR and the one with the cat was Aron.
The solo trailers were set in a different parallel universe where it’s more of a reality-type of world (but this was not the real world of the knights), and there were five separate worlds. The pie party group trailer was set in a fantasy-type, most probably utopia.
In the solo trailers, I believe they were all living a different but normal person’s life, similar to Minyun’s in Universe. Then a mysterious pie with an invitation arrived. Once they opened their senses to the card and pie, their memories from a different world came onto them, their memories of both utopia and their knight lives.
REN — He was playing on the swing. When he smelled the flowers on the card, his memories of his other lives came flashing in his head. He opened the box, found the pie, and dropped it. Why? For him, suddenly remembering how happy he was in utopia and finding his current self trapped in a different world was too devastating for him. Like, “Why am I here? What happened to my utopia?”
BAEKHO — Baekho already saw the pie before he went in the car, it was not just shown in the trailer. When he saw the pie, his eyes were opened. His memories from the other world came down on him. That was why at the start he was contemplating whether to send a signal or not (Baekho had been sending signals since Love Paint / you may refer to the Signal tweet). He decided that it’s not needed anymore because his message was finally received. Proof? He just received an invitation out of nowhere. That’s why Baekho seemed relieved as he drove away. On the 00:46 mark, he passed by a road sign, which could mean that he was crossing a line; there’s no turning back now.
MINHYUN — He was reading leisurely on the roof. When he tasted the first piece of grape, he remembered. That’s why he suddenly went missing afterwards because he already went down and felt the urgency that he needed to do something. Sort of like something was long overdue. His expression after seeing the ladybug said it all.

JR (peaches) — I will assume JR was the one sending the invitations since he’s also preparing the peach pie. He was already reminded of their other lives even before the solo trailer, maybe we could attribute it to him partially knowing something but not taking action because he was torn between two forces. So he was trying to bake pies, practicing perhaps, waiting if ever it was even possible anymore to get back together. His attitude seemed like he’s not looking forward to it anymore because it may as well be equal to impossible. He was always deep in his thoughts thinking about it, if he had made the right decisions or not, so into his thoughts that he did not notice his surroundings anymore. Nothing was thrilling in that world. He had become numb. He was now just living a monotonous life until someone rang the door bell and then a spark of hope was lit up. I think the one who rang the doorbell was Traveler Aron.
How did JR sent the invitations? I think it’s not the actual peach JR who sent the invitations but could be a JR that’s similar to Traveler Aron. But peach JR had knowledge of it because all JRs share the same memory. If you have watched Terminator Genisys, kind of the same thing happened to Kyle Reese. He suddenly had memories of a past that he did not went through but he knows it’s his. It turned out it’s from the young Kyle that he was about to meet at the end of the movie.
ARON (cat) — Aron, all this time, knew about everything, but he was stuck in a nonmagical world. Similar to Goblin, when Ji Euntak was reincarnated in the end, she knew from the moment she was born that she had to be with Kim Shin. Aron also received an invitation but it was not shown visually well, but there’s a piece of paper on top of the book on the table that seemed like an invitation card. Ever since he received the invitation, he got a pie and took it out every night, as if reenacting the utopia party all by himself. That’s why the pie was filled with molds and holes and ashes from the candle. He was hoping everyday that this was finally the day that everything will materialize. He was so sad and his longing had been increasing. His only comfort was a cat named Love.
On the 00:46 mark, the cat’s eyes suddenly widened and a very faint voice of a man can be heard saying something like “we’ve survived”. Then the candle light was blown. Some say cats could see ghosts or elements from other dimensions. So I guess the cat saw an astral projection of the Traveler Aron and he’s also the one who whispered to employee Aron. Then Aron, upon hearing that, blew the candle because he knew it was finally time. Things will work out now.
GROUP TRAILER (utopia) — When Minhyun turned on the TV, he also turned on the switch to reality. Then the phone rang. In Matrix, for them to exit from the matrix world, they had to answer the phone. (You may also refer to the Matrix theory for further reading.)
After reality was connected to fantasy, the yellow guy arrived, which I believe was the Traveler Aron. Why was he drenched? Atlantis was submerged in water, so this was a picture of him just entering utopia. Then he showed his invitation. (You may also refer to the Atlantis theory for further reading.)
When JR sent the invitations, both employee Aron and Traveler Aron received it. It’s just that employee Aron had no power and ability to act in his world, but Traveler Aron does.
Going back to JR (peaches) trailer, since he’s the one who sent the invitations, Traveler Aron first went to him; hence the doorbell. But it was not the right world that fitted his mission. He needed to go where “The Table” was, so he moved onto another world.
When Minhyun finally switched on the TV, the bridge to utopia was connected, and when JR answered the phone, the portal opened, so Traveler Aron was able to go in. He showed the card to the clueless utopia nyoongs.
Why did Traveler Aron go there? Because it was the only place where things could be corrected. Not from peaches JR’s world, not from employee Aron’s world, etc. but only in utopia. He had long been crossing dimensions in search for that world, but could not find it unless NU’EST W era Minhyun accomplished his mission (you may also refer to Inception/Universe theory), which was a parallelism to utopia Minhyun turning on the TV.
Back to the solo trailers, someone’s watching both Ren and Minhyun. It could be Traveler Aron, but honestly, I don’t think highly of it. I believe it was the Queen watching them. Ren and Minhyun were the two most inclined to fantasy (Love Paint). Plus Queen had been constantly watching them since the beginning (see observation mirrors theory).
This theory only makes so much sense if JR was indeed the peach guy and Aron the cat guy. If not, then that’s a whole another theory again.
